MARSOC

Civil Engineer responsible for the site work associated with the MARSOC west campus. Project included seven new buildings on two sites.

The main campus included a new MARSOC West headquarters building, a Paraloft facility, Academic building, Armory, Motor T maintenance facility, and a supply warehouse. The site required over 100,000 cubic-yards of earthwork to create a balanced site – no import/export.

A dual water loop was designed to provide domestic needs and meet the fire demands. A fire pump and reservoir support the fire system enhancing water pressures to ensure fire flows are available at all buildings, including the supply warehouse.

Off campus improvements include a new NBC building at a remote location – $67m/RQ Construction/ Camp Pendleton, CA
